This delightful Mid 20th Century Vintage Paragon English Bone China Figurine, "Lady Marguerite", was designed by leading artist Reginald Johnson, Circa 1950, and issued by Paragon China of Longton, Staffordshire, { 1919 - 1960 }. Good crisp modelling and beautiful colourway combine to make her the perfect addition to the Paragon enthusiast's collection. The base fully marked with the Paragon backstamp and title, "Lady Marguerite", { According to Kathy Artus' most helpful reference work, "Paragon China Figure Collection", this is possibly Series Number 188 }. Inspired by HRH Princess Margaret, a rare version of this figurine may also be found in a white dress, this with applied red roses, the underside with title, "Princess Margaret".
