This delightful Mid 20th Century Vintage Paragon English Bone China Figurine, "Lady Marilyn", was designed by leading artist Reginald Johnson, Circa 1950, and issued in seven different colours by Paragon China of Longton, Staffordshire, { 1919 - 1960 }. Good crisp modelling and beautiful colourway combine to make her the perfect addition to the Paragon enthusiast's collection. The base fully marked with the Paragon backstamp and Title plus the Series Number, 52 { According to Kathy Artus' most helpful reference work, "Paragon China Figure Collection", this number was allotted to the Pink colourway, while Series Number 51 refers to that found here, ie. Red Coat, Green Dress. Whether this difference stems from an error in the book, or is a production error, we are unable to say. }, plus Painter's Monogram, JN.
