The wintry sunset scene here depicted, one of three similar examples presently available, superbly painted with a shepherd and his flock of sheep making their way through the snow, the piece offering the perfect introduction to the works of this talented Staffordshire artist, examples of whose work may now be viewed at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery.
