A good clean copy of the Revised version of the First Edition, which was published in 1971, of "The Price Guide to Old Sheffield Plate", by Tom Frost, issued by The Antique Collectors' Club of Woodbridge, Suffolk in 1978. The prices are, of course, now a matter of historical interest only; however, the fine black and white illustrations which form the basis of the book are of lasting value and are a great aid in training the eye of all those who would seek to develop an understanding of what collecting is really all about. A good basic training manual in fact for the apprentice dealer. Hard covers, 396 pages, original dust jacket.
