This attractive Late 20th Century Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Kate" ~ HN 2789, offered here in a Different Colourway, her dress multicoloured and decorated with red roses, was designed by leading Doulton artist Margaret "Peggy" Davies and is catalogued by Charlton as issued only in a flowered white dress from 1978 to 1987. The underside fully marked with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period in black, plus title, KATE, H.N. 2789, © ROYAL DOULTON TABLEWARE LTD 1977, indistinct Impressed Model Number and green Painter's Monogram.
