A fine and attractive First Year of Issue Mid 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Spring Morning" ~ HN 1922, decorated in a pink and blue colourway, designed by leading Doulton artist, Leslie Harradine , and issued from 1940 to 1973. The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp as used from 1932, this together with the numeral 13, indicating that this figurine was produced in 1940, the first year of issue, "Spring Morning", Rd. No. 836602, { for 1939 }, HN 1922 in script and in blue, the Painter's Monogram TP for John Pierpoint, recorded as working at Doulton from Circa 1927 to 1985, impressed Date Code 10 3 40, and an impressed Model Number.
