This rare and fine Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "A Spanish Lady" ~ HN 1262, decorated in a palette of black with red flowers, was designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine, and was issued from 1927 to 1940. This example fully marked on the underside in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp as used from 1927 to 1932, Spanish Lady, Rd. No. 736540, { for 1928 }, In red script, Spanish Lady, HN 1262, Potted by Doulton & Co, indistinct impressed Model Number, and the Painter's Monogram, LS, for Linda Scarlett, recorded as working at Doulton.
