This attractive Mid 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Easter Day" ~ HN 2039, decorated in a multicoloured colourway, was designed by leading Doulton artist Margaret "Peggy" Davies, { although credited by Charlton to Leslie Harradine ! }, and was issued from 1949 to 1969. This example fully marked on the base in green, with the printed Royal Doulton backstamp of the period, "Easter Day" Rd. No. 842489, { for 1944 }, COPR 1945, DOULTON & CO LIMITED, and in script, HN 2039 plus Painter's Monogram, O, for Owen Reed, listed as working at Doulton until Circa 1965.
