A rare and fine Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Eleanore" ~ HN 1754, decorated in an orange and cream colourway, designed by leading Doulton artist, Leslie Harradine, and issued from 1936 to 1949. The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period, this together with the numeral 10, indicating that this figurine was produced in 1937, the second year of issue, "Eleanore", Rd.No.810432., { for 1936 }, impressed Model Number, 916, and impressed Date Code, 3 8 37, for 03 August 1937, this above the impressed numeral 14, in green script, HN.1754., and the Painter's Monogram GS, possibly for either George Shaw or Graham Shelley, both recorded as working at Doulton.
