This lovely Mid 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Hermione" ~ HN 2058, was designed by leading Doulton artist Margaret "Peggy" Davies and was issued for just three years, from 1950 to 1952. Beautifully decorated in a cream and lavender colourway, the underside fully marked with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period in green, plus title, "Hermione", COPR.1949, DOULTON AND CO. LIMITED., Rd.No.855989, { for 1948 }, Rd.No. 858998, Rd.No. 27135, Rd.No. 5963, Rd. No. 68/50, and in green script, HN2058, impressed numeral, { 31 or 34 ? } and impressed Date Code, 1348, for 01 March 1948, the date that the mould for this figurine was produced, plus the Painter's Monogram, 15, for Graham Cubley, listed as working at Doulton 1946 to 1996.
