This attractive Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Janet"~ HN 1737, decorated in a green colourway, was designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine, and issued from 1935 to 1949. The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period, this together with the numeral 10, indicating that this figurine was potted in 1937, "Janet", Rd No 778640, { for 1932 }, in green script, HN.1737., impressed Date Code 2437, for 02 April 1937, plus indistinct impressed Model Number, and in blue, Painter's Monogram, indistinct, but looks like TJP, for Tom Parton, recorded as working at Doulton Circa 1930 onwards.
