This charming Late 20th Century Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine was designed by Leslie Harradine, { 1887 - 1965 ), who, whilst remaining independent of Royal Doulton, is today regarded as being undoubtedly their most prolific and admired designer and modeller. Issued from 1949 to 2001 and decorated in a green, red and white colourway, the elderly lady sits with a patient expression as she offers her colourful wares for sale. The base fully marked in green with title, "Silks and Ribbons", HN 2017, COPR. 1948, DOULTON and Co. Limited, and four Registration Numbers plus illegible impressed mark.
