This rare, possibly unique, and delightful Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Sweet and Twenty" offered here in a Different Colourway, bears no HN number, but since it was potted in 1932, it clearly was produced as one of the following series, ie. HN 1298, HN 1360, HN 1437 or HN 1438. Decorated in a yellow, orange and green colourway, it was designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine. Fully marked on the underside in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period, together with the numeral 5, indicating that this example was potted in 1932, the title, "Sweet & Twenty", Rd. No. 737560, { for 1928 }, indistinct impressed Model Number and Date Code, and in blue, the unidentified Painter's Monogram, JP.
