This attractive Mid 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "The Ermine Coat" ~ HN 1981, decorated in a red and white colourway, was designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine, and was issued from 1945 to 1967. This example fully marked on the base in green, with the printed Royal Doulton backstamp of the period, "The Ermine Coat" Rd. No. 842488, COPR 1945, DOULTON & CO LIMITED, and in script, HN 1981 plus Decorator's Monogram, NW, possibly for Norman Woodings, listed as working at Doulton until 1963, but not matching his earlier monogram.
