A fine example of this Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine ~ "The Flower Seller's Children" ~ HN 1206, designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine, issued from 1926 to 1949, and one of Doulton's most touching and endearing models. This lovely old figurine is decorated in a blue and purple colourway and comes complete with a basket of beautifully modelled flowers, these early pieces being so much finer than the later, "clumpier" products. The underside fully marked with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period in green, and in red, The Flower Seller's Children, HN 1206, Potted by Doulton and Co. and the Painter's Monogram NLW, for Norman Woodings, recorded as working at Doulton c.1930 - 1963, all this together with a barely legible impressed Model Number and Date Code 344 for 03 April 1934.
