The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period, this accompanied by the numeral 9, indicating a production date of 1936, Rd No 753120, { for 1930 }, in green script, The Paisley Shawl, HN.1739, indistinct impressed Model Number and impressed Date Code, 3336 for 03 March 1936, plus in blue, the Painter's Monogram JCB, unidentified, but recorded as working at Doulton Circa 1930.
