A lovely Early 20th Century Antique English Royal Doulton Porcelain Plate, softly painted with roses and signed on the obverse P. CURNOCK, the reverse with the Royal Doulton backstamp for the period in green and the impressed Date Code 10 - 15 for October 1915. Percy Curnock was probably Doulton's longest serving artist, entering the factory in 1885 and only retiring in 1954. He specialised in floral painting, especially roses, and landscapes.
