A good Set of Three Graduated Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Pewter Measures of baluster form by James Yates of Birmingham {c. 1800 – 1840 ~ Cotterell O.P. 5338 }. Comprising Half Pint, Pint and Quart measures, all bearing the Maker's mark together with capacity marks and a variety of Weights and Measures Inspection Stamps.
The Half Pint stamped JAMES YATES 1/2 PINT together with an engraved 1/2 Pint plus Excise Inspector’s Stamp. The foot now a little mis-shapen adding rather to it’s period charm.
