Originally published in 1916, this rare volume was re-issued in 1948 by Tudor Publishing of New York. Probably the finest publication ever to deal with the subject of blue and white transfer printed American views on earthenware, one of the standard works, and yet extremely difficult to find. "The Blue China Book, Early American Scenes and History pictured in the Pottery of the Time", by Ada Walker Camehl, is a "must have" book for the serious dealer or collector. Excellent, if old fashioned text, plus first class black and white plates illustrating many early American views not easily found elsewhere. Hard covers, 321 pages, original dust jacket, now rather untidy looking.
