A large and attractive Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Ware Pottery Serving Dish / Platter, printed in a medium blue in the "Spanish Beauties" pattern, the Maker of which remains as yet unidentified. The romantic scene with a group of figures, one playing a stringed instrument, is set within a complex floral scrolled border incorporating four small scenic vignettes. The reverse with underglaze blue printed title, "Spanish Beauties" in script beneath a crown and demi-lion crest, the whole within a leaf and berry cartouche, this together with the impressed number 16. No Maker's Marks.
