A good Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Prattware Pot Lid, "Fording the Stream", a medium sized lid with dotted border, catalogued as No. 335 in Ball's A.C.C. Price Guide, where it is stated that some lids bear the signature J.A, { for Jesse Austin }. Since there is no sign of this here, if the signature is present, then it must be hidden beneath the frame.
