A really beautiful Late 19th Century Antique English Victorian Ruby and Cranberry Glass Banqueting Oil Lamp, the round stepped column ruby in colour, the "Gothic" style decoration enamelled in white with gilt highlighting, this latter now somewhat rubbed after decades of dusting; lovely large waisted cranberry glass font and good clean "rise and fall" brass burner, the wick winder buttons each marked SUPERIOR DUPLEX, the whole ensemble crowned to perfection by a quite exceptional cranberry glass shade of the period, delicately etched overall with an artistic blend of floral and geometric decoration, original ruby glass chimney.
