An attractive, well coloured, Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Staffordshire Pottery "Cottage orné" ~ basically that listed by Harding as Fig. 3168, but with the addition of a pillared entrance porch, to which we have allotted the catalogue number H 3168a. One of the myriad designs produced throughout the period for use as chimney ornaments. This one, an appealing example of a not uncommon model is one of two presently available ex stock, this the smaller of the two. These display well either individually or as a pair.
