A large, imposing, decorative and titled Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Staffordshire Pottery Figure of "Wallace", H 1142. Sir William Wallace, Scottish patriot, { 1272 - 1305 }, was devoted to resisting the English. Elected Governor of Scotland, he was arrested in 1305, taken to London, and condemned to be hung, drawn and quartered.
