A large, imposing and titled, Mid 19th Century, Antique English Victorian Staffordshire Pottery Royal Portrait Figure of Napoleon III, Charles Louis Napoleon Bonaparte { 1808 - 1873 }, Emperor of France ~ P C96 ~ H 734. Britain's ally in the Crimean War is here seated on a titled base, the title in raised gilt capitals reading "EM NAPOLEON", his left hand resting on his hip,, his right leaning on a cannon and holding a scroll. To his right, a gun emplacement and another cannon to his left. He wears a plumed hat, tunic with epaulettes, breeches and knee boots, with a sash across his chest and waist.
