An endearing Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Staffordshire Pottery Figure of Two Spaniels, one chained to a barrel, the whole group set upon a gilt lined oval base ~ H 2594. One of two matching figures, each listed and priced here separately but illustrated together in Images 6 and 7, which have, so we are given to understand, spent their entire lives together in a Montgomeryshire cottage. Each group is well coloured and crisply moulded, suggesting an early production date. Price for the pair of figures gladly supplied upon application.
