This scarce and attractive Mid 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Modena" ~ HN 1846, was designed by leading artist Leslie Harradine and was in production for twelve years, from 1938 to 1949. Well decorated in a red and green colourway, the base with painted title, Modena HN.1846 and Decorator's monogram, H; together with the printed Royal Doulton backstamp for the period, with Date Code 12, indicating that this figurine was actually produced in 1939, the second year of production of this model.
