A good, Second Period, Early 20th Century Antique English W.H. Goss Porcelain Model of a Conical Candle Snuffer, bearing the arms of Filey, the interior of the body fully marked in black, W.H. GOSS beneath the Goshawk, together with a yellow ochre painted anchor. This item would originally have been retailed together with it's tray, and is listed in Pine's Encyclopaedia as "Extinguisher Holder, with Crested Cone Candle Snuffer". This was available in two models and sizes, both of which are today very difficult to find in completely original condition.
