A good, Second Period, Early 20th Century, Antique W.H. Goss Model of a Conical Candle Snuffer, bearing the arms of Sandwich, the interior of the body fully marked in black, W.H. GOSS beneath the Goshawk. This item would originally have been retailed together with it's tray, and is listed in Pine's Encyclopaedia as "Extinguisher Holder, with Crested Cone Candle Snuffer". This was available in two models and sizes, both of which are today very difficult to find in completely original condition.
